Latino Theater Projects is a non-profit theatre company dedicated to telling the oft-controversial stories of the Latinx community. This Website and rebranding effort was a team project between Anna Sabo, Jennifer Bailey, and myself. The site is built on WordPress using a custom theme and scripts. I stayed on with LTP for a year as an admin to make a few more tweaks and adjustments to the site after the project was complete.
The screens below are screenshots of the site as it was originally coded.
Layout design for this project was done in print using Adobe InDesign
per project requirements. Our presentations were done in person and designing in a printed format allowed for people without advanced computer experience to easily markup the design and make changes. Normally I would use Adobe XD.
The logo redesign was heavily iterative with light client involvement.
All logo designs were produced as vectors in Adobe Illustrator to produce the SVG logo that was installed into the site. In the end, we offered three logo designs.
The logo that was finally chosen is symbolic of both the explosive nature of the stories this theatre company produces, and the intellectual effect of a thought-provoking story. The colors are earthy, but still vibrant and bright, The font was favored for its visual strength and its density.
